"We have such a sweet group of people!" In the spring we introduced these two banners of historic icons into our worship space. If you'd like to learn more about the use of icons in the church check out this video I did. This was what Beth said as she got in the car this past Sunday after church. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened, but the combination of small conversations and connections led her to say that. It's one of the gifts of church isn't it? Each other! We've all lived in a "church age" where there has been an inordinate amount of focus on the next attractional thing or effort to grow. In that we can miss one another. We can miss the beauty of the body of Christ and the joy of being in relationship.
